Curry Powder

This is a well used formula for a Bangladeshi, Indian, or Pakistani curry powder.
This tried and trusted simple recipe is a quick way to add spicy flavour to a meal.
However, better to start with new whole spices and to grind them together using a pestle and mortar.

Ingredients

20 ml Fair Trade ground coriander
20 ml Fair Trade ground cumin
20 ml FAIRTRADE ground ginger
10 ml FAIRTRADE ground turmeric
10 ml FAIRTRADE ground cinnamon
5 ml Fair Trade ground piri piri

Spices
Crafts pestle and mortar

Method

Mix the above ingredients together in a little dish.
Store in an airtight container until needed.

Variations

1) Reduce the piri piri for a lesser "hot" as tigger would say.
2) Use Fair Trade chili powder in place of piri piri.
